Clinics Take Place at:

The Humblehorse Ranch in our Bunkhouse and heated indoor arena and outdoor riding park throughout select months of the year.

Clinics run on select weekends throughout the year.  You can attend a 3 hour Clinic either 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm depending on your individual needs,as well as what our schedule permits. Our clinics are all priced very reasonably priced so everyone can participate! All Clinic dates will be updated regularly.

 

Our Learn To Ride clinics are specially designed to give you an introduction to horses from the ground up to the saddle, as well as our Storm Academy Riding program and a chance to experience the endless possibilities and places you can go with horses!!  This clinic will give you all the basic fundamentals of Western riding from the ground up to the saddle.

Our  clinics will give you the opportunity to discover OR rediscover your skills, ( even your likes & dislikes)  and learn all the basics leading into our horsemanship Program, the Storm Academy, or our other programs under development. The clinics will allow you the opportunity to  experience where working with horses really begins.  The Learn to Ride Clinics also cater to those who may have ridden many years ago and are looking for a refresher or a chance to get back into horses again in a safe, experienced environment, regardless it's a great day to spend learning about yourself, all aspects of horsemanship, and your potential.

After a  Learn To Ride Clinic , you will have all the tools, and knowledge of horses to decide if you want to enroll in our Storm Academy, or sign up for another program offered.

Some of the topics and experiences to expect in The Learn to Ride Clinic

  • Theory, tack & safety lesson In the Bunkhouse

  • Get to see the Herd Roundup ( seasonal & weather permitting)

  • Observe & Study their natural Herd Behavior vs how we modify their behavior through training

  • Round Pen demonstration ( see how your horse was trained ) OR Lunging demonstration.

​       In the Corral: Catching your horse in the herd, proper halter fitting 

  • In the Arena: Grooming and recognizing common injuries and health issues. Leading, and practicing different horse gaits.  Establishing control and being comfortable on your horse from the ground is a crucial foundation to build.  
  • During the Clinic, you will get to saddle and have a lesson on your assigned horse , giving you the chance to experience a taste of our Storm Academy lessons! We will also get a chance to let you know all about our Storm Academy, Summer Camp Academy, and more!

  • There will be demonstrations from our trained staff and professionals throughout the clinic.

  • If Interested register today to hold your spot... we will require payment in full upon registration to secure your spot.

Our Coaching Staff:

We have been delivering quality riding lessons and training programs for over 25 years.   Becky, our head riding Coach is a Certified Western International Riding Coach with International coaching experience in 4 different countries.  Her most recent experience was working in Beijing China for the world-renowned equestrian and acrobatic show Cavalia.   She heads up a trained team of experienced leaders who take great pride to ensure each rider has the best experience possible! 

Courtney Ledene & Alivia Carriere are two of our Storm Academy Certified Instructors. They both work very closely under the direction of Becky, and lead many of our classes while Becky rides and Coaches in them to maintain a top quality lesson.

Please ensure that you print and fill out a new registration form for each new event (but not lesson renewals)  even if its in the same year.  This is to ensure we have the most current emergency and health information.  However waiver forms are valid for the current calendar year.  Note that there are two forms to choose from;  one for clients over the age of 18 and one for those under age 18.
