Our Western Riding Coach: Becky Skuter

I ( Becky) have been riding since I was six years old. I always had a passion for horses and loved the thrill and excitement I got from racing and competing in all kinds of equine events. Some of my most memorable experiences with horses are riding for weeks on end in the mountains with my family and friends, competing in competitive endurance rides and tons of fun competitive gymkhana's. I would have to say one of my absolute most enjoyable memories would have been racing in the Strathmore pack race , and one year coming first place and breaking the track record to win the prize belt buckle!

Once I graduated from High School in 2002, I decided to take The Western Equine Coaching Certification program at Olds College. I wanted to have the chance to introduce all kinds of people to the world of horses, and also be able to coach current riders to their goals and full potential! I have now been teaching for 7 years!  I love my job and all the many students and friends that become part of the Humblehorse Ranch.
